Regular Meeting of the Shetek Area Water and Sewer Commission

The meeting was called to order by chairman Ted Haugen at 4:00 PM

Members absent:  Dave Marks, Jon Harback, Tim Alcorn

Agenda:
Motion (04-15-10a)  Moved by Dean Salmon, seconded by Donna Kor to approve the agenda with additions.  Motion carried unanimously.

Minutes:
Motion (04-15-10b)  Moved by Dean salmon, seconded by Jamie Thomazin to approve the minutes from March 4, 2010.  Motion carried unanimously.

Motion (04-15-10c)  Moved by Jamie Thomazin, seconded by Donna Kor to approve the minutes from March 18, 2010)  Motion carried unanimously.

Discussion on the meeting with Currie council and staff which covered ponds, phosphorus levels, pumps, and usage as per our agreement.  

Motion (04-15-10d)  Moved by Jon Hoyme, seconded by Dean Salmon to send a letter of appreciation to Jerry Taylor. Motion carried unanimously.

Discussion with Dominic Jones concerning expansion of Red Rock rural water to some residents with the sewer district.

Motion (04-15-10e)  Moved by Dean Salmon, seconded by Jon Hoyme to endorse and sign the resolution (R10-15-04)  to permit this expansion.  Motion carried unanimously.

Treasurer’s Report:

Motion (04-15-10f)  Moved by Dean Salmon, seconded by Jamie Thomazin to pay the invoice of $408.21 to Currie for January services.  Motion carried unanimously.
