University of Minnesota Extension - Murray County Office

University of Minnesota Extension utilizes the research-based resources of the University to meet the needs and issues of citizens and communities in Minnesota.  Extension programs and information are available in six broad categories: Ag, Community, Environment, Family, Garden, and Youth.  4-H Clubs, 4-H Adventures, Babysitting Clinics, and summer youth activities are some of the youth programs conducted by Extension staff.  Murray County Master Gardeners organize an annual summer garden tour and assist residents with horticulture issues.  Crop and livestock programs are held annually in Murray County.  Nutrition education is taught at local schools, senior dining sites and food assistance programs.
