EDA Murray County's economic development programs are under the direction of the Murray County Economic Development Authority (EDA). The EDA is composed of five appointed commissioners.  Regular monthly meetings are at 7:00 A.M. on the first Wednesday of each month in the Murray County Government Center.

The Murray County Office of Economic Development is a department within the Murray County governmental structure. The department shares office space with the Murray County Human Resources and Extension departments and is located in the Murray County Courts Building directly south of the Murray County Government Center.
