The Honor Flight Network recognizes American veterans thier sacrifices and achievements by flying them to Washington, D.C. to see THEIR memorial at no cost. Top priority (for which we are currently accepting applications) is given to World War II and terminally ill veterans from all wars.

Honor Flight kicks off

World War II veterans, funds needed to make trip in Spring 2010

They are considered the men and women of the greatest generation of Americans. They served their country during World War II and quietly returned home to their families. They desired not fame or recognition, but now that a national monument has been built in their honor, it’s only fitting that they be able to see it. 

Now, veterans in Nobles, Rock, Pipestone and Murray counties will be able to embark on their own journey to the memorial.
