The Season Spring Load Restrictions start on Monday, March 8, 2010 at 12:01 AM.
Murray County will be installing Spring Load Restrictions signs on Murray County Roads Monday, March 8, 2010. When the signs are in place that road is considered posted until the signs are removed later in the Spring. Murray County load postings follow recommendations from the seasonal load limits set by Mn/DOT. They are typically in place for 8 weeks, but may be longer depending on the opinion of the county engineer and Mn/DOT.

Southwest Minnesota Honor Flight |
|
HONOR FLIGHT EVENT IN SLAYTON ON APRIL 17TH
Got Spring Fever? Get out and stretch your legs and support the SW Minnesota Honor Flight and tribute to WWII Veterans.
Sign up for a 5K Fun Run/Walk event which will take place on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the Murray County Fairgrounds in Slayton. There are several age categories with prizes in each category. Each person to pre-register will be given a long sleeve T-Shirt to keep as a souvenir. Cost to enter the race is $15 per entrant or $40 per family.
If you can’t run or walk in the event, plan on coming to the fairgrounds at 11:00 a.m. to enjoy a $5 burger feed while enjoying the music of the County Gentleman and support our WWII heroes. At 11:30 a.m. there will be ceremony for the race winners and a fitting tribute to our WWII Veterans.
