Part Time License Center Clerk
Murray County is taking applications for a part-time License Center Clerk, 24 hours per week, Normal Schedule Monday, Wednesday, Friday.

This position provides service to the public by accurately processing and reporting transactions related to Driver’s License, Motor Vehicle Titles, Plates, Game and Fish Licenses, Boat, Snowmobile and ATV Registrations.

Minimum Qualifications: H.S. Diploma/GED and a valid Driver’s License are required. One year of prior office experience.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work with others in a team environment and to communicate effectively with members of the public, and officials or employees from other organizations and departments;
  • Must be registered as a notary;
  • Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and make non-routine decisions within established precedents considering Department objectives;
  • Must communicate with public, other departments and other agencies in a professional manner;
  • Ability to prepare correspondences and reports as assigned or apparent;

  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing;
  • Ability to learn web based DVS program as well as MN DNR computer programs;
  • Valid MN Driver’s License.
Salary: $18.48 - $24.03 per hour
